If you want female dancers in New York at an Adirondack lake house for a bachelor weekend, book ahead. These miles aren’t Midtown, and a dock is not a club.
The set is one indoor hour after the boat, the fire, and dinner. Not a same-night city dispatch. Don’t promise yourselves an under-ninety-minute arrival.
This is a guys’ trip with female strippers in a lake house, cabin, or Airbnb somewhere in the park towns. Lake George, the smaller lakes, a rental off a county road. Pick one address. Keep the show inside. I’ve been booking parties since 1989. Water is pretty. It’s a terrible venue after dark.
The lake house is the venue
Great-room photos lie. There’s still a coffee table, a stone hearth, and a path you’ll trip on. Move furniture once before the first cooler. Kids’ gear and fishing rods leave the room. Pets get a closed door. A dog at the fence during a set is how the next dock gets involved.
Water carries sound. Decks and docks are afternoon. Night is inside, sliders on the lake side shut. When the set ends, volume down. Talk is fine. A playlist into the cove for two hours is a complaint.
If the group split across two rentals, don’t walk the performer between them. One house is the show. The other is crash space.
Day on the water, night in the room
Boat, hike, village lunch. That’s the trip. The set starts after you’re back, showers done, cars in the drive. Write a door time and a set time. People drive in from Albany, Saratoga, and the city. “When we get off the lake” is not a time.
Don’t try to run a private set off a dock. Wind, other boats, open water. Different job. Not this booking.
One person at the door. Cabin names repeat. Seasonal roads look the same after dark. Porch light. Gate code. Cell that answers. Save a space in a drive that already has a trailer.
Rain still needs a backup on the same property. A living room you already cleared. Not a second venue twenty minutes farther into the park. Moving the night after people have already driven is how a timing problem becomes a convoy on a dark county road.
Name the town
Adirondacks is not an address. Send the town or hamlet. A Lake George village Airbnb is not a cabin on a dirt spur in another county. Travel time changes. So does cell service. If the pin and the cabin name disagree, the cabin name wins.
Book ahead. Summer weeks in this park are not a Thursday in March. Preferred performers and a clean window go to groups who called with a locked house and a headcount. Don’t expect same-night service. Don’t expect anyone at the door in under ninety minutes.
Headcount and the lease
Occupancy on a lake house is often cars as much as beds. If the max is ten, you don’t add four from a second driveway. Extra bodies are extra noise. Plus-ones after the list is set are a no.
Read events language. A small indoor gathering with the door shut is one conversation. A lawn party with a speaker toward the water is another. Keep it inside if you want the house back next year.
Guests coming from the south need a reason to leave on time. Put the start on the invite in numbers, not “evening.” Offer a crash room or a nearby inn already named. The drive back is the same drive they just did.
Bring a covered layer for the walk from the car. Lake nights get cold even in July. Keep it looking like a cabin, because that’s what it is.

I danced for 22 years. Honest advice: skip trying to make the dock the show. Call before the groomsmen are already on the Northway. Give me the town name, not a lake that could be three different rentals on three different dark roads. Cell service drops. Have a backup number.
